Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Epic Eventures! By booking our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms govern all the details of your event, including payments, cancellations, alcohol service guidelines, and more. Our goal is to ensure a smooth, successful event while adhering to California state laws.

Deposits and Payments

-Deposit Requirement: A non-refundable deposit between **25% and 50%** of the total service cost is required at the time of booking. The exact deposit amount will be determined based on the size, type, and duration of the event.

-Remaining Balance: The remaining balance is due **within two days of the event**. Any additional charges for extra services, overtime, or added packages will be invoiced afterward.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

- Cancellation Policy: If you cancel more than **30 days before your event**, you are eligible for a full refund of your deposit. If you cancel within **14 days of your event**, you will be responsible for the full amount of the agreed services.

- Rescheduling Policy: Rescheduling is allowed up to **14 days** before the event with a **$100 rescheduling fee**. Availability will depend on Epic Eventures’ schedule and availability.

- Company-Initiated Cancellation: In the unlikely event that Epic Eventures must cancel, you will receive a **full refund** of any payments made. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, emergencies, or other uncontrollable factors. Epic Eventures will not be held liable for any damages beyond refunding service fees.

Liability and Alcohol Service

- Compliance with California Alcohol Laws: Epic Eventures operates in compliance with California’s alcohol laws. This includes refusing service to guests who appear intoxicated or are underage, and ensuring that alcohol is served responsibly throughout the event.

- ID Verification: Our bartenders will require valid identification for guests appearing to be under 30 years old, to ensure they are of legal drinking age (21+).

- Right to Refuse Service: For safety reasons, our bartenders reserve the right to refuse service to any guest or host for any reason, including intoxication, aggressive behavior, or suspicion of underage drinking. No refunds will be given for services refused on these grounds.

- Host Liability: Hosts assume full responsibility for the behavior of their guests and any liabilities arising from the consumption of alcohol. Epic Eventures is not liable for any incidents, injuries, or damages resulting from alcohol consumption by guests.

- End of Service: All alcohol service will stop at the agreed-upon time. Alcohol may only be served within the event’s legal timeframe, and leftover opened bottles remain the property of Epic Eventures.

Add-On Services

Epic Eventures offers a variety of add-ons to customize your experience:

- Portable Bar: A mobile, customizable bar setup perfect for any theme or event space.

- Ice Packages: Ice services at **$2 per guest**, with a bulk discount available for larger events.

- Soda and Mixers Packages: From basic sodas to premium mixers, Epic Eventures provides all bar essentials, customizable to your preferences.

Event Details and Modifications

- Changes to Event Details: Any changes to the number of guests, venue location, or duration must be communicated at least **10 days before** the event. Additional charges may apply depending on the nature of the change.

- Additional Services: For events requiring extra bartenders or mixologists, added hours, or additional bar equipment, these services will be charged at **10%-20% extra** depending on the package and duration.

Event Setup and Breakdown

- Epic Eventures includes **2 hours for setup** and **1 hour for breakdown** in all bar packages. If additional setup or breakdown time is required, it will be included in the final invoice.

- The client is responsible for ensuring the venue is available at the agreed-upon time for setup.

Sustainability Commitment

Epic Eventures is committed to sustainable and eco-friendly practices. We use **biodegradable or compostable cups, straws, and napkins** to minimize environmental impact. Additionally, we source fresh ingredients locally from farmers' markets and work with local suppliers to reduce our carbon footprint.

Photography and Social Media

- Photography Release: Unless otherwise requested, Epic Eventures reserves the right to take photos and videos during the event for promotional use, including social media, website content, and marketing materials.

- Client Opt-Out: If you prefer not to have any images of your event used, please inform us in writing before the event.

Alcohol and Host Liability

- Client-Provided Alcohol: Due to state laws and liquor liability insurance, clients cannot provide their own alcohol for open bar packages. If clients wish to provide their own alcohol, Epic Eventures offers a la carte services. Any opened bottles will remain with our bartenders after the event.

- Insurance and Permits: Epic Eventures maintains proper insurance and permits to serve alcohol at events. However, it is the client’s responsibility to check whether additional event permits are required for specific venues or locations.

Force Majeure

Epic Eventures will not be liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, acts of government, pandemics, or strikes. In these cases, the client may reschedule the event with no additional fees.

Our bartenders and event staff have decades of experience working in high-end hotels, luxury events, and weddings. **Brian**, the founder of Epic Eventures, has over 20 years of experience, is classically trained in mixology, and personally hires every staff member to ensure top-tier service.
